JOB SUMMARY The Office Manager will report to the Catalyst Deputy Director and be involved in the daily running of the office. She/he will work on all administrative recruiting, ensure completion of reports and evaluations; ensure general office maintenance including purchasing supplies, etc.; manage meeting functions and track expenditures. The Office Manager will assist the Finance Officer on some budget responsibilities. S/he will work with the Deputy Director to help implement the agreed upon operations and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the Deputy Director on the recruitment process according to established practices
-
Work with the Deputy Director to implement the agreed-upon operations and workflow systems and ensure consistent Catalyst-wide compliance
-
Ensure the timely completion of staff evaluations and keep the confidential files for appropriate reference
-
Ensure the timely completion of quarterly and annual progress reports from the field offices
-
Ensure appropriate and timely procurement of supplies, furniture, IT equipment, and general office maintenance
-
Manage the major Catalyst meeting functions such as workshops/seminars and other international events including personnel travel and accommodations
-
Ensure the timely processing of reports and manuals and distribute to field offices as needed
-
Track expenditure on key programs and activities and advise the finance manager on budget issues

Other responsibilities as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-
Masters degree, preferably MBA from an internationally accredited university
-
Management experience
-
Ability to promote organizational strength in an international setting
-
Experience intermediating among different corporate structure
-
International exposure
-
Basic knowledge of IT equipment.
-
Foreign language preferred (ideally Spanish or Arabic)

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent computer skills
